Sorry I mean the fantastic Avengers Assemble. My TV God Joss Whedon is now my Superhero Film god too. Really enjoyed this so much I bought the box set. Don’t think I’ve seen this Hulk yet. Thankfully I am over the age of 12. They are good on their own but fantastic together. Weekend viewing sorted. Ahhhh Hawkeye!!

Photo No 203 - Superheroes Rock (Jul 21st)
Was due to go to the cinema with a friend to see Avengers Assemble to celebrate her birthday. She was ill unfortunately but I’d already bought the tickets. After a failed Facebook call out I went alone as a billy no mates (very thankful to the cinema for refunding my mate’s ticket). Loved the film so much I decided to go and see The Amazing Spider-Man straight after. Also great. Home to watch Thor and Captain America downloaded from Anytime Plus. Realised I have seen Emma Stone in three films this week: Spider-Man, The Help and Friends With Benefits. Forgot to add it was my first time in the Studio screens upstairs. I do love films and Superheroes.
As of Apr 5th 2013 I have changed the name of my tumblr blog to kirstyes - Photos and Words. The description below explains why I set it up as kirstyes' 366 Photo/Small Stone Challenge but because I achieved the challenge but still love tumblr it is time for a change.
2013 sees me attempting another challenge so daily (Mon-Sat) I fold and cut a page from my kirigami calendar and take a snap of the outcome. Sundays see me taking a picture of my happiness jar (my attempt to make a note of all the things that make me happy this year - to be reviewed on New Year's Eve).
But tumblr is more than that to me now and I reblog lots of different types of things, from books to hunks, pretty things to cute things, things that make me snort, words and phrases that speak to me.

Last January I took part in the 2011 River of Stones small stone challenge, and I have also been inspired by the 365 Photo Challenge I have seen people participating in on Facebook.
Because 2012 was a leap year I planned to take a photograph on my phone and to write a small stone (click on the image below for details) every day for 366 days starting 1st January 2012. Rather than use my existing blog (www.kirstyes.co.uk) I decided to set up this tumblr. account instead.
Some days the photo and my small stone be connected but this may not always be the case.
This blog is my effort to be mindful in 2012 and pay attention to what is going on around me. I hope some of you will join in too.
